Find out more about Scalp Micropigmentation, an affordable and natural-looking solution for hairloss.
How much does it cost?
The cost of the treatment varies from person to person depending on the size of the area being treated. We recommend coming in for a free no-obligation consultation whereby we can take a look at your scalp and discuss the options available to you, give you a price and answer any questions you may have and then you can go away and decide if the treatment is right for you. Telephone and FaceTime consultations are also available for convenience if preferred.
How long does it last?
How long the treatment lasts varies from person to person depending on skin type and exposure to the sun. The treatment will always be there however it will slowly start to soften over time. A top-up session is a perfect way to revitalise the treatment, on average customers can expect to require a top-up session every 3 to 4 years. As the top-up only requires 1 session in comparison to the initial 3 sessions this is reflected in the heavily discounted price.
Will it look natural?
Over the course of the 3 sessions, we will look to build gradually on the tone, density and shape to ensure a natural-looking result so yes your treatment will absolutely look natural.
How long does it take?
Scalp micropigmentation is built up over 3 sessions. Each session takes between 2 to 4 hours depending on the size of the area being covered. The second session is ideally 7 to 10 days after the first session and the third session 3 to 4 weeks after the second session. The whole scalp is covered in all 3 sessions so don’t worry you won’t be walking around with half a head done! The reason we don’t just do it in one session is to build the colour and density gradually to ensure a perfect and natural healed result.
Is it painful?
Most clients describe feeling “slight discomfort” however it’s rarely described as painful. If the client does have a low pain threshold painkillers can be taken beforehand as a precaution.
I have underlying health issues can I have the treatment done?
Scalp micropigmentation is not suitable for anyone that suffers from psoriasis, eczema or any other recurring skin condition. If in any doubt please contact us and we will be able to discuss further.
